The DUMPSTER ART PROJECT + SUSIE BUSH exhibition

Dear Friends and Patrons,

We will like to have your attendance this weekend at our 12th and Six Art Complex in LiHa (Little Havana,) where we will be showing the trash dumpsters, (which were) converted into art by five local artists and placed in strategic locations around the Wyndwood area and at the BAC during Art Basel.

General Hauling Service, who supported the project by providing the artists with materials, will be present. GHS will award a first, second and third cash prize to the winners of the competition, set up by Adalberto (Adal) Delgado and Maria Amores of the 6th Street Container alternative space. The artists and the winners were selected by a panel composed by Maria Amores, Adal Delgado, Christopher Miro and Arlys Raymond. The artists selected for the project were Cat Dove and Kyle Chapman, Regina Gestrow, Ines Lorin, David Tupper, Project 301 and Sleeper.

A solo exhibition by photographer Susie Bush will be on display in Zona Verde, documenting the Dumpster Art Project.
